Urgent Reminder – County Championships May 11th and 12th

If you are intending to enter the County Championships you should make an entry online via the following link –

The closing date is midday on Thursday 18th April, so you have just over a fortnight to make an entry. If you are unsure about whether you are eligible, what events you can enter, and what the timetable will be, speak to your coach or to a club official. All juniors in the age groups under 13, under 15, under 17 and under 20 are strongly urged to enter, plus seniors of course. Masters will compete against seniors throwing senior weights. This is a great event, offering a good opportunity to establish your form early in the season, and for juniors it offers the opportunity to put yourself in the frame for selection for County teams. Our message to all our athletes is, “if you are good enough to train with us during the winter, you are easily good enough to enter the County Championships”.
