Attached are the provisional results of the first round match held at Horspath on Sunday 13th April. Thank you to all the coaches, team managers, officials, kitchen helpers and volunteers who made the day a really smoothly run event. The Oxford junior girls won the U13, U15 and U17 age groups, while the boys were 4th, 3rd and 2nd in those age groups respectively. The QuadKids amassed 1330 points to come third behind Winchester and Southampton.
There were some great performances throughout the team, with many wins for Oxford in the sprints and middle distance, as well as successes in the field. For the first competitive match of the season, there were as expected, lots of PBs, and many performances which suggest that Club and league records could be challenged later in the season when the weather warms up.
The next Wessex League match is at Salisbury on Sunday May 4th.
