OXFORD CITY ATHLETIC CLUB SANDRA LUKE MEMORIAL 5 STAR AND 10 STEP COMPETITION
SUNDAY 27th MAY 2018, HORSPATH TRACK, OXFORD, OX4 2RR
5 STAR: is open to u10, u11, u12, u13, u14 and u15 athletes. Athletes should choose 1 track and 1 field and a third event which can be either. You cannot do all track or all field. You can do only two events if you wish, but you cannot do three field or three track and qualify for a medal position.

10 Step is open to u8 and u9 athletes. Athletes do all 5 events – 50m, 800m jog, Long Jump, Vortex Throw, object pick-up

TROPHIES
There are trophies for the best 5 Star & 10 Step performances, and medals for the top 3 in each age group.
5 Star certificates for all will be posted out after the competition.
All 10 Step athletes receive certificates & medals presented on the day after their last event.

LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
DUE TO THE EXTREME POPULARITY OF THIS EVENT IN PAST YEARS WE WILL BE CAPPING THE NUMBER OF ENTRANTS AT 75 FOR THE 10 STEP COMPETITION, AND 325 FOR THE 5 STAR COMPETITION
CHANGES TO EVENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER AN ENTRY HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
If you missed the medal presentations and think you may be due a medal for being in the top three in your age group, please contact me and I will be happy to send you the medal in the post.
Competition Rules
“I just wanted to pass on my thanks for a fantastic competition yesterday. We have attended many competitions at OCAC and have always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and great organisation. Yesterday I had 4 of my 5 children competing – 2 in the 10 step & 2 in the 5 star, so it took some effort on my part to get them to the right place at the right time! I thought the organisation and delivery of such a packed schedule was incredible – including having to deal with starting gun problems (she dealt with it all so calmly!) the event officials, volunteers at the ‘tuck shop’ and all involved, did an amazing job of representing your club in the best possible way.
My children love athletics and this is due to the great set up we have for youngsters at MMKAC but also very much due to the encouraging way you also as a club put on competitions for the younger athletes. These first experiences they have had competing at your Quad Kids events have been invaluable in developing their confidence in competition as they have got older.
