About OCAC

Club Information

We are situated at the Horspath Athletics Track neighbouring the BMW MINI Factory (Directions to Horspath Road).

Oxford City Athletic Club is affiliated to UK Athletics, the SEAA & Oxfordshire Athletic Association & Oxfordshire Athletics Network.

Juniors can start from the age 8 and are carefully guided through the basics of the sport until they are comfortable with the various disciplines they will encounter. Senior athletes are slotted into appropriate groups, depending on experience and ability. No athlete is rejected on the basis of ability. This club is committed to ensuring that equity is incorporated across all aspects of its development.

Constitution

The club is incorporated as a Community Interest Company (CIC) which means that our constitution document is a memorandum of incorporation for the company “Oxford City Athletic Club, CIC”. This describes who controls the club, who it belongs to, and how it functions. Other aspects of club governance, such as our Codes of Conduct, Disciplinary and Grievance procedures, and so on, are adopted by the club on the recommendation of England Athletics, and identify how we, as a club, govern ourselves in different situations. All of the documents relating to the governance of the club can be found in this section of the site.
