TOWN vs GOWN: 30 May 2018 – 6pm at Iffley Road track

The annual Town vs Gown fixture will take place on 30 May 2018 starting at 6pm at the Iffley Road track. The Town team for Oxon will have been selected from those coming first or second in their events in the U17, U20 or Senior age groups at the T&F Championships.
The competition is two per team (plus two guests), and interested athletes should contact the OAA Chairman by e-mail by 20 May latest (john.sear@gtc.ox.ac.uk).
The following events are included:
100, 200, 400, 800, mile and sprint hurdles (at 106cm for the men)
LJ, TJ, HJ, Javelin, Shot and Discus (all instruments are as for senior athletes; and the TJ board will be at 9, 11, or 13 m ONLY).
There are also championship events at 3K walk and 5000 (see below).

COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP 5000m TRACK RUN and 3000m TRACK WALK
These two events will be included in the Town vs Gown programme. The entry form for both is attached. Please email your entry to town.gown@yewneek.com indicating clearly whether you are entering the run or the walk.
