“A beautiful day for our two u17 women athletes, Scarlett Shorter and Florence Wootten, to compete at the bucolic Salisbury track. Scarlett won her A string 100 in a cracking time of 13.4 and also came close to her pb in a tight 200 to finish fourth. Florence also won the B string 100 in 13.5 and jumped a pb in the long jump of 4.43 to come second. A big thank you to these two for representing the club at a time when revision and half term commitments meant many of our athletes were unable to attend.”
