Track Bookings

Published: 30 September 2020

Hi – if you are visiting this page to make a track booking, you can no longer book an hour slot at Horspath Track using this online form. On October 1st 2020 Horspath has implemented a new system of ‘track passes’. You are welcome to train at Horspath but you will need to purchase a track pass before arriving.

The way these passes work is fully explained on the tab which you can find at the top right hand corner of our website – entitled ‘Track Passes’. There you can also purchase all of our track passes – daily, weekly (non-members only), monthly, and annual. These passes are very good value compared to many other tracks, and all the money raised goes to maintaining the track. You will need to select which pass offers you best value for money; daily passes are valid for only one day, but weekly, monthly and annual passes enable you to visit the track as often as you want during the period you have purchased a pass for.

Entry during the daytime will be via the gate at the side of the building. You will need the entry code to gain entry. The code is made available when you book your pass.

There are certain restrictions which will come into force from October 1st 2020:

Monday – open from 7.00am to 6.00pm, then reserved from 6pm to 8pm for  Oxford City Athletic Club Juniors. Limited to 80 athletes at any one time.

Tuesday – open from 7.00am to 8.00pm, but with a limit of 80 athletes on the track at any one time. Please check in advance if you are not an Oxford City member and would like to train from 6pm onwards.

Wednesday – open from 7.00am to 6.00pm, then reserved between 6pm and 8pm for Oxford City Athletic Club Juniors plus pre-booked external groups. Limited to 80 athletes at any one time.

Thursday – open from 7.00am to 8.00pm, but with a limit of 80 athletes on the track at any one time. Please check in advance if you are not an Oxford City member and would like to train from 6pm onwards.

Friday – open from 7.00am to 9.00am, then closed  between 9.00am and 3pm for use by Wheels for All (strictly no track or field users). 3pm-5pm open, then closed from 5pm onwards for use by Oxford Brookes University AC.

Saturday – closed 9.00am to 1pm, then open until 6pm (currently no floodlights available on Saturdays).
