Ella Turner wins National Indoor U20 400m title

Congratulations to Ella Turner who last weekend won the National Indoor U20 400m title, in the process gaining selection for England at this weekends’ indoor international in Cardiff. Ella, who was the fastest qualifier for the final, went on to run a beautifully judged race, going through the 200m mark in a bunch with three other athletes in close attendance. Getting her nose ahead at the bell she then powered away with 150m remaining to win by a clear 10m margin in a time of 54.22s. Ella, who is coached by Marcia and Ian Marriott, broke another club record for 400m with this win.
