Track Passes

A track pass is needed to train at Horspath Athletics Track unless you are a full member of Oxford City AC, in which case training costs are incorporated into your monthly direct debit.

If you are not a member and wish to join, go to the join us page here Join Us.

We have now stopped selling track passes online. From July 17th 2023 onwards track passes will have to be purchased from The Athlete Centre (TAC) on arrival at the track. Please make sure that you visit TAC and that you have a card or phone on you to enable a purchase to be made. Do not use the track or any of the facilities before purchasing your pass.

Your name and time of arrival will be recorded so that we know who is using the track.  Access via the side gate requires a combination code, which can be supplied if you have not used the track previously.

Please do not object if, when using the track, you are asked to provide proof that you have paid for your session. If you have not paid you will be asked to leave. Please do not protest – our rules require that you purchase your pass before starting your session, not when asked for proof of purchase by a member of staff.

The cost of track passes remains as it was previously:

Having a track pass entitles you to use the track, but not the high jump, long jump, pole vault or throws areas. To use these, and hurdles and other equipment, you need to contact us in advance, to ensure that equipment is available when you need it (there is limited availability, so do not assume that you will have access to equipment).

You will be expected to adhere to the track use rules which are prominently displayed at the track, plus any other applicable health and safety rules.

You will also need to check when there are Open Meetings, league matches and external bookings at the track to make sure that it is free when you wish to use it. We are working on providing more live information on screens about when the track is free.  Some external bookings require exclusive use, others are happy to share the track. We will be providing more information of this sort in future.

There are restrictions affecting non-members:
